Remember that awesome real-life Batman suit that industrial design student Jackson Gordon crafted a few months ago?
Well, Gordon is looking to expand his DC Comics armory with another combat-ready suit. But this time, Gordon will venture to DC’s darker corners with a home-spun take on Deathstroke's fighting armor.
Gordon plans to improve upon his construction techniques with the Deathstroke suit, fabricating an armor that’s adjustable, cleanable, more comfortable, and a little more aesthetically pleasing (hey, we thought the bat-suit looked just fine). According to Gordon, he doesn’t plan to draw from any specific Deathstroke designs, but rather, will take “into account all the various versions of his armor from over the years to create my own suit which is both practical and true to the character.”
But since Gordon doesn't have a industrialist's or mercenary's bank account, he needs a little help getting Deathstroke's suit into the field. For that, he’s launched a Kickstarter campaign with a $1,750 goal. That should fund enough armor to stop stop a few batarangs or boxing-glove arrows.
You can pledge to Gordon’s campaign here.
What do you think a functional Deathstroke armor might look like? Let us know in the comments below.
