The cloud streaming service will support 4K resolution at 60 fps, says Google, and it's coming this year.(2019)

At its GDC 2019 keynote today, Google announced Stadia, a cloud streaming service that claims to make graphically-intensive games available to anyone who can run Chrome. It'll launch this year, and Doom Eternal will be one of the first games on the platform, streaming at 4K resolution, 60 fps.
  • Google allows its users to download a copy of everything they have stored on the company's services, including Drive, Calendar, Gmail and Hangouts.
  • You can download your own archive of this information from Google if you want to create a backup before deleting your Google account and moving to another service.

Cramer's lightning round: Don't sell Valeant here—I believe in its CEO from CNBC.

Google has a lot of data on you — here's how to download it
If you use Google services, there's a really easy way to download everything you have stored on the company's servers.
This is particularly important if you ever decide to quit Google and delete your account entirely, but still want a record of your Google Calendar, an archive of the pictures in Google Photos or a copy of everything in Gmail. It's also useful if you want a reminder of everything Google knows about you.

Here's the thing about Google: The company is really, really good at collecting information.

After all, that's their business. Google collects, stores, and analyzes data; ultimately, every single one of their products does something with information organization.
Perhaps that's why we're not shocked by the revelation that Google stores voice recordings for Android smartphone users. However, many Android users are unaware that they're making these recordings—and they're a bit disturbed.
London artist Joshua Dunlop has created a project called "Pokémon Zoology", a series of illustrations realistically depicting Ash's main pokémons (Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Pikachu). The result was none other than spectacular, incredible details of texture and color reminds us of a unique realism of pokémon (who never wanted to have one?)
The project was so well received by netizens that the new proposal is to do the same with all existing pokémon.

Don't want to spend a small fortune to get a new phone? Follow these tips to spruce up your current model's looks and performance.

Some industry experts believe we've reached "peak phone," the point where there's no longer any real need to upgrade. Once you find a phone you like, why spend a bunch of money just to get a slightly faster processor or slightly improved camera?
I have an iPhone 6S Plus, for example. It's coming up on two years old, but I have no intention of replacing it. It does everything I need it to do, so unless Apple's next model can, I don't know, dispense espresso on demand, I'm staying put.
Of course, older phones can have issues. Battery life is a big one, and probably one of the main drivers behind buying new. But there are aesthetics as well: Sometimes you just get bored looking at the same old phone. Sometimes you want shiny, you want new.
hdmi arc explained works care port

If you’re the owner of a newer HDTV, A/V receiver, sound bar, or home theater in a box (HTIB), you may have noticed (then promptly forgotten) a little symbol on one of the device’s HDMI inputs that says “ARC.” What does this mean? Hint: it has nothing to do with the reactor that powers Ironman’s suits.
ARC stands for Audio Return Channel, which is a little-understood protocol that started showing up on HDMI-equipped devices a few years back. Today, it is increasingly common. The technology is especially useful and has the potential to significantly simplify home entertainment systems. Unfortunately, few know it even exists, much less what it can do. Here, we’ll go over the basics of ARC so you can put its mythical powers to work for you.
But first, a quick refresher on HDMI itself (feel free to skip ahead if you just need to know how ARC works).
EA and Ghost Games have confirmed that a new game in the Need for Speed franchise will be hitting consoles by the end of 2017 and shared a few initial details on the up-coming release
We’ll Have A New Need For Speed Game By The End Of This Year - Gaming

A new Need for Speed game is in development and will arrive by the end of the year, EA and Ghost Games officially announced in a blog post.

They’re keeping information on the up-coming release close to their chests, but have revealed a few details on the new game before we hear more at EA Play in June.

Of course, the last game in the NFS series was the reboot back in 2015. Both EA and Ghost Games are building on that foundation and have taken into account the fan feedback from it too.

The biggest detail to come from the announcement is the fact that offline mode will return – the constantly-online element of the previous game was a major drawback. Now, there’ll be the option for gamers to play offline and single-player, with the ability to pause the action and not have to put up with being constantly online.

Ghost also emphasised that customisation will “play as strong a role as ever” in the new NFS, while police chases will be a feature too.

The announcement also said players will have the freedom to drive around an open world with “the space in which to do the things you want”, and also hinted at off-road driving.

So, we’ll have a new Need for Speed game this year and we’ll get more information next month. Are you excited? Let us know in the comments!

Whether you're a newcomer to Android or just upgrading to a newer model, consider tweaking these settings to improve performance and battery life.
New Android phone? Take a peek at its settings. So many categories, so many options within those categories. It's enough to make your head swim.
And you might find yourself wondering, are the factory settings ideal? Right out of the box, is your new phone really configured for optimal performance, productivity and battery life?
Maybe yes, maybe no. Here are the Android settings you should consider changing right away. (Quick note: with so many different versions of Android out there, the steps outlined here might be slightly different on your phone. For the record, I used a Sasung Galaxy S6 running Android 5.1.1.)

1. Crank down the brightness

Simple math: The brighter your screen, the faster it will consume your battery. That's why you should lower the brightness setting, and not by a little. Consider dropping it to 50 percent or even less.

Turn the brightness down, and watch your battery life go up.
razer-blade-pro-late-2016-01.jpgThe updated Razer Blade Pro keeps the same body as the late 2016 version, seen here.

It's not the highly buzzed about triple-screen Project Valerie, but there is a new Razer gaming laptop coming soon. Razer's flagship 17-inch gaming laptop is getting a handful of 2017 upgrades. Most notable among them is a move to new seventh-gen Intel Core i7 processors; specifically the one used here is an overclocked Core i7-7820HK. The 32GB of RAM gets a small speed boost, from 2,133MHz to 2,667MHz.
Razer is also claiming this is the world's first THX-certified laptop, which means it gets a stamp of approval from the audio/video standards company. Founded in 1983 by "Star Wars" creator George Lucas, THX has been owned since 2016 by Razer, so it's no surprise that the two brands are collaborating.
To become THX certified, which means it meets THX standards for excellent audio and video quality, Razer says, "the Razer Blade Pro screen is calibrated and tested for resolution, color accuracy and video playback performance ... [and] the audio jack on the new Razer Blade Pro met THX requirements for voltage output, frequency response, distortion, signal-to- noise ratio, and crosstalk that guarantees clear sound through headphones."
razer-blade-pro-late-2016-06.jpgThe Blade Pro is the slimmest laptop with an Nvidia 1080 graphics card.
Razer tells me the current Razer Blade Pro panel hardware is unchanged from the previous model, and met the THX standards, while there have been some physical changes to the audio output hardware.
Like the previous Blade Pro, the 4K, 17-inch display support Nvidia's G-Sync technology for less screen-tearing and runs the same Nvidia GeForce 1080 graphics card. You also get the same low-profile mechanical keyboard and extremely customizable backlit keyboard. And yes, the touchpad is still off to the side, which is one of the most unusual things about this very thin gaming laptop.
The new 2017 version of the Razer Blade Pro will be available in April, starting at $3,999 in the US and £3,799 in the UK. Australia isn't on the initial launch list, but that UK price works out to roughly AU$6,250.

We're already in the future when it comes to tech-filled cars with autonomous capabilities and things are only going to get more advanced. Soon our cars will be talking to one another and the environments around us. As with all new inter-connected technologies, there's a worry over security.

HAVE CARS REALLY BEEN HACKED ALREADY?

In 2015 Chrysler had to recall 1.4 million vehicles when a pair of hackers, Miller and Valasek, demonstrated how easy it was to remotely hack into a Jeep. They were able to paralyse it on a highway and even disable the brakes at low speeds. The same pair have more recently been able hack a Jeep's steering.
Facebook seems to be constantly changing. Honestly, I can't keep up. Remember when cover photos came in and everyone kicked off? Or when we could only 'like' things and not react 'angery' or 'love'. Can't imagine that life now.
Something it's currently testing is a new version of the News Feed. So you'll have a standard one and also an 'Explore' tab. It's filled with posts from pages which are closely related to ones you already like. The idea behind it is to expand your Facebook circle and introduce you to different content you may not have seen before.
Last April we reported over on comicbook that Xbox France had created a custom Xbox One design based on Tony Stark's briefcase Iron Man suit that is seen in Iron Man 2. It was a gorgeous, glowing, custom console that could only be won, so it's likely that none of you reading this actually have one yourself.
That's not how this story should end, and thankfully, it doesn't have to. If you're truly determined to have a Stark Industries Xbox One, Eddie Zarick of EdsJunk has put together a tutorial video showing how you can build your own Stark Industries Xbox One. When it's all done, you'll have the same sleek design with a glowing core. Even the center button in your Xbox One controller is getting an overhaul. Check out the video right here:
Nokia CEO ended his speech saying this “we didn’t do anything wrong, but somehow, we lost”.

Nokia CEO ended his speech saying this “we didn’t do anything wrong, but somehow, we lost”.
During the press conference to announce NOKIA being acquired by Microsoft, Nokia CEO ended his speech saying this “we didn’t do anything wrong, but somehow, we lost”. Upon saying that, all his management team, himself included, teared sadly.
Nokia has been a respectable company. They didn’t do anything wrong in their business, however, the world changed too fast. Their opponents were too powerful.
They missed out on learning, they missed out on changing, and thus they lost the opportunity at hand to make it big. Not only did they miss the opportunity to earn big money, they lost their chance of survival.
The message of this story is, if you don’t change, you shall be removed from the competition.
It’s not wrong if you don’t want to learn new things. However, if your thoughts and mindset cannot catch up with time, you will be eliminated.
Conclusion:
1. The advantage you have yesterday, will be replaced by the trends of tomorrow. You don’t have to do anything wrong, as long as your competitors catch the wave and do it RIGHT, you can lose out and fail.
  1. To change and improve yourself is giving yourself a second chance. To be forced by others to change, is like being discarded.
Those who refuse to learn & improve, will definitely one day become redundant & not relevant to the industry. They will learn the lesson in a hard & expensive way.

Short Bytes: After a long wait, the original KickassTorrents website is back with a new domain KATcr.co. Brought back by the original staffers, the new website looks just likeKAT.cr. The website is rebuild using new user database, and safe elements. At the moment, due to high server load, the users are experiencing some troubles loading the website.
After the death of KickassTorrents, the world’s most famous torrent website, anumber of fake proxies arrived on the scene. This also helped the other torrent websites gain popularity.
Most people have hundreds of Facebook friends and, statistically speaking, not all of these friends will share your own beliefs and political views. And thanks to our newsfeeds, we usually get front row seats to anyone that wants to use Facebook to express their point of view.
There is no doubt that that the 2016 American election got ugly on both sides, and people got very impassioned in their views about both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Facebook became a battleground for people that wanted to yell about the election and their candidate of choice.
FAST CAR REMAPPING GUIDE
The fact of the matter is modern cars are complicated and without fettling the electronics controlling all their systems you won’t be making the most of all those bolt-on mods.
Now, we’re the first to understand it’s hard to justify shelling out for something you can’t actually see. Getting a remap is nothing like spending a few quid on a spanky exhaust that you can hold and caress.
The point is though, getting all those electronically controlled settings spot on is essential. Not just for tuning your car wringing out more power, but for the general wellbeing of your engine – it all becomes obvious when you get in and drive.

5 Things Windows 10 Can Do That Apple’s OS X Can’tMicrosoft’s Windows 10 is nearly upon us, and from what we’ve seen so far, it looks like a seriously huge improvement over the disaster that was Windows 8.
But regardless of how much better Windows 10 is than its predecessor — which, again, was awful — the big question on many minds will be: How does Windows 10 compare to Apple’s OS X?
And, sure, while there are plenty of things that Windows 10 seems to have “borrowed” from OS X — the new notification panel is just like the Notification Center in OS X, and Windows’ Task View is a dead ringer for Apple’s Mission Control — there are a bunch of features in Windows 10 that OS X can’t match. Here are five of the most notable.
What Is Adobe Flash, and How Can You Get Rid of It?(Adobe)
Google and Mozilla each announced this week that their Web browsers will be dropping default support for Adobe Flash, citing the plug-in software’s newly discovered vulnerabilities to cyberattacks. Generating even more noise over these concerns Tuesday was Facebook’s chief of security, who called for Adobe to set an “end of life” date for the oft-exploited 20-year-old platform.
