See Natalie Dormer's 'Hunger Games' Head Tattoo and Several Other New Looks in These 'Mockingjay' Posters
We knew Natalie Dormer had shaved the side of her head for her role as Cressida, a key supporting character in the upcoming Hunger Gamessequel. But a collection of new posters for the movie revealing the “rebel warriors” of District 13 and beyond shows the 32-year-old actress also sporting a creeping head-and-neck tattoo, all-black combat garb, and what looks to be a semi-automatic rifle. Known for her more regal role on HBO’s Game of Thrones, this is easily the toughest we’ve seen Dormer to date.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 marks the first on-screen appearance of Cressida, a Capitol dweller who becomes key in helping Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) with her cause. The other rebels on display in this latest batch of Hunger Games art also includes a crossbow-brandishing Gale (Liam Hemsworth) and similarly fierce-looking (and heavily armed) franchise newcomers such as Messalla (Evan Ross), Boggs (Mahershala Ali), and Castor (Wes Chatham).
Meanwhile, the symbolic mockingjay emblem is decidedly darker than usual, and placed strategically in the background. Clearly, these rebels are stern and ready for war. President Snow and the other power brokers at Panem had better watch out.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 opens Nov. 21.
