The Lamborghini Centenario has finally been revealed by the automaker themselves in a press release issued today. The car was built to celebrate the centenary of Ferruccio Lamborghini’s birth, the founder and brains behind the inception of Lamborghini.
As stated before, only 20 coupe and 20 roadster versions of the car will be produced. Unfortunately, all of them have been sold out at a starting price of €1.75 million, roughly $1,900,000 USD at today’s current exchange rates.
“The Centenario is a car that perfectly combines tradition and innovation. It looks to the future while honouring the legend that is Ferruccio Lamborghini.” – Automobili Lamborghini President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann.
Each one comes with the naturally aspirated V12 engine producing 770 hp, with Lamborghini stating its the most powerful engine they’ve ever produced. It can run the 3,351 lbs car from 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds and 0-186 mph in 23.5 seconds, with a top speed of over 217 mph. Aiding in the quick acceleration is the permanent four-wheel drive, which includes the new Lamborghini rear-wheel steering system.

Inside, each Centenario is personalized to the customer’s liking through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam personalization program. The customizable options are not noted, but I can assume they include the color leather, piping, stitching, Alcantara and other materials, as well as the option to add specific trim materials and exterior colors. Coming in standard in the Centenario is the 10.1-inch touchscreen with navigation, Apple CarPlay, telemetry and more.
The Centenario is just the latest in Lamborghini’s long line of one-off, limited edition cars that show new technology the brand has to offer. What will be next? Who knows, but we’re going to have to wait a couple more years. In a video made by Lamborghini and uploaded by Shmee150, before it was taken down, the new Lamborghini Centenario has been revealed.
According to Jalopnik, the new Centenario is powered by a naturally-aspirated V12 engine that gets no help from a turbocharger, supercharger or electric motors. It can produce 770 hp and run 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds.
They also noted that there are 20 coupe and 20 roadster versions of the Centenario planned for production. As of right now a price has not been listed, but we’ll have all of that information once Lamborghini issues the full press release, and we’ll update this article with that info.
