Taco Bell have stuck a burrito inside a quesadilla which has got us thinking about similarly stuffed foods...
What meal isn’t improved by stuffing it with another equally calorific dish?
In the US, Mexican restaurant chain Taco Bell has unveiled a collaboration that’s pretty much the food equivalent of Hall & Oates – the quesarito.

A quesarito is a burrito wrapped in a quesadilla, which is a cheesy, spicy, tortilla roll that isn’t short of a few calories.
Taco Bell isn’t the only establishment to combine two favourite foods to make one mega culinary Devastator dish that makes the world a little bit brighter and your waistline a bit bigger.
Here are some of our favorite food duos…
1. Taco Bell wasn’t the first US fast food chain to start stuffing some of their food inside some of their other food. Jack in the Box created the Jumbaco back in 2012, which consisted of their signature Jumbo Jack burger sandwiched between two tacos.

2. The McDonald’s Secret Menu features a cacophony of culinary delights but none quite as sublime as the McGangbang. To experience this foodie delight simply order a double cheeseburger and a mayo chicken from the saver menu, insert the chicken burger in between the two beef patties, sandwich together and marvel at how far modern technology has come.

3. Cheese on a burger is nothing new but what about cheese inside a burger? We’ll go one better - macaroni cheese inside a burger. Yep, it exists. The Nook in Atlanta, Georgia has created theaward-winning Southern Comfort Stuffed Burger that’s stuffed with fried bacon mac and cheese. Proof that God exists and he wants you to be fat and happy.

4. Pizza or burgers – the eternal conundrum that we’ll never solve. Or will we? Boston’s bar and restaurant in the US have created the PizzaBurger and it’s exactly what it sounds like. Coming in at a whopping 1360 calories, the juicy cheeseburger is wrapped in pizza dough and cooked like a calzone. Is it possible to be full just reading about something?

5. We all know that bread is the side dish du jour when it comes to Italian food but some total genius has decided to cut out the middle man and put spaghetti inside a loaf of bread. It’s a spaghetti sandwich, no big deal.

6. If sweet and savoury are your thing, what about a burger sandwiched between two glazed doughnuts. Ok, this is even making us feel a little queasy…
7. Got a full-on sweet tooth? Do like our friends across the pond and try these s’more stuffed cookies. S’mores are traditionally enjoyed around a campfire and are made up of a toasted marshmallow sandwiched between chocolate and sweet crackers. All you have to do is surround the uncooked s’more with cookie dough, stick ‘em in the oven and enjoy.
If you've never tried a s'more this is probably the best way to start your lifelong addiction. [Tumblr]
8. Fans of pies and cakes (so that’s basically everyone) will enjoy this. The PumPecApple is a three-tiered cake that is hiding a whole pumpkin, pecan and apple pie. Wow.
9. While we’re on the subject of cakes, the only thing better that a huge tiered baked stack of yumminess is cutting into it to find a surprise inside. If we don’t get a tiger, zebra and leopard print cake for our birthday this year we’re cracking skulls.
We want this cake. NOW. [Pinterest]
Would you eat any of these stuffed foods?
