anticipated
What a year 2015 has been at the movies. Audiences are loving it and surely the theater owners and movie producers are, as well. We've been gifted films such as Mad Max: Fury RoadAvengers: Age of UltronFurious 7Ex MachinaJurassic World and if you haven't seen it - go! - but, Inside Out.
Let me remind you - we're only half way through the year and summer has hardly begun. We still have a ton of movies remaining this year to anticipate and eventually be spoiled by. Below, we've compiled a list of the five most anticipated movies remaining in 2015. The ones that will snatch that ticket price proudly from our wallet and leave us full of popcorn and Coke until a few weeks later when we embark on another journey with new characters.

Although, Crimson PeakMinionsSouthpaw and Terminator: Genisys are among movies I'm very much looking forward to, I have to label them as honorable mentions in this year stacked with epic blockbusters.
Ant-Man
Ant-Man's debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe keeps looking like more and more fun. That, and the fact that it's the last movie before Captain America: Civil War. Hopefully by the time Paul Rudd is done parading around at the size of an ant, we'll get some insight as to where the Avengers stand since Age of Ultron. The latest TV spot and posters also plays up the Avengersconnection quite heavily, so will any of the Avengers be making an appearance in Ant-Man? Ant-Man's confirmed cast, alone, is promising. Paul Rudd is a beloved actor for a number of reason, Evangeline Lily is a geek-favorite with LOST and The Hobbit on her resume, and Michael Douglas is Michael Douglas. It has all the right ingredients to be a huge success following the doubt of fans like, oh...I don't know...Guardians of the Galaxy?
Fantastic Four
Perhaps the most debated movie of the summer will arrive in August to settle the score. Whether it's out of pure excitement or curiosity, Fantastic Four is surrounded with anticipation. The young actors are extremely talented. Miles Teller blew audiences and yours truly away in Whiplash. Michael B. Jordan can combine his comedic side from That Awkward Moment with his true acting stripes earned in Fruitvale Station to convey a masterful Human Torch portrayal. Kate Mara's credit resume just goes to show how talented she is, from 127 Hours or Transendence to the small role you didn't know she had in Iron Man 2, the girl can bring it. Of course, the fourth of the Fantastics, Jamie Bell of Jumper, becomes The Thing for Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot. Will it be a swing and a miss or will Fantastic Four knock it out of the park? Time will tell.
Spectre
If you say you're not excited about the next Bond movie - you're only lying to yourself because the rest of us see right through it. Daniel Craig returns to role following the explosive Skyfall finish in 2012. Without giving anything away in case you haven't watched the previous Bond installment, it will be interesting to see how Bond reacts to the events of Skyfall.
Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2
Finally, Katniss is making her way to the Capitol and bringing the fight to Snow. Think about how far Katniss (and Jennifer Lawrence, too!) has come since The Hunger Games. Going back to re-watch the first three installments of this saga is mind bending. From Katniss being hurled into a fight for her life and District to the eventual rebellion against the Capitol, it's all finally coming to a head in what will surely be the epic conclusion of the Hunger Games franchise.
Star Wars
Need we say more? Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens arrives with the full intention of reeking inter-galactic havoc on the box office. What better way to end 2015, a year of amazing movies so far, then by revisiting one of, if not the most historic franchises in cinematic history. The original cast returns to a setting 30 years after Return of the Jedi in what may be a passing of the torch to this new generation of actors an filmmakers. Not to mention, JJ Abrams is at the helm and where has he ever failed? Let's take a look at what he's accomplished - LOST, AliasMission Impossibles, Star TrekFringeRevolution... The list goes on and on, full of beloved properties. Star Wars: Episode VII is sure to be an epic new adventure.
