Big Dissin'
Whether you know him as Christopher Wallace, The Notorious B.I.G., Biggie, or Biggie Smalls, he was one of the most influential and successful rappers ever. He met his terrible fate at the young age of 24, but his work will never be forgotten. As with any famous person, he had a lot of haters. He dealt with them the way all rappers should: through his music. Check out some of the best subliminal disses Biggie has ever dished out.

Sure, he got a lot of hate, but Biggie wasn’t just one of the best at taking the disses, he was one of the best at slinging them out as well.
He didn’t always do it out in the open. Sometimes he’d have the disses hidden in the tracks, but he couldn’t hide them from us!
Big Dissin'
“Kick in the Door”
“Your reign on the top was short like leprechauns/As I crush so-called willies, thugs and rapper dons/Get in that ass, quick fast, like Ramadan/It’s that rap phenomenon Don Dada, fuck Poppa”
The assumed target on this one is Nas. Biggie and Nas had a lot of beef back in the day. Nas even confirmed that his song “The Message” was a diss song aimed at Biggie.
“Ain’t no other kings in this rap thing, they siblings/Nothing but my children, one shot, they disappearing/It’s ill when MCs used to be on cruddy sh*t/Took home Ready to Die, listened, studied sh*t/Now they on some money sh*t, successful out the blue”
This one is assumed to be aimed at both Raekwon and Nas. You’ll learn pretty quickly that Biggie and Nas didn’t get along.
“Lyrically I’m worshiped, don’t front, the word sick/You cursed it, but rehearsed it/I drop unexpectedly like bird sh*t/You herbs get stuck quickly for royalties and show money/Don’t forget the publishing, I punish ’em, I’m done with them”
Another shot at Nas, calling out his lyrics and predictability.
“This goes out for those that choose to use/Disrespectful views on the King of N-Y/Fuck that, why try, throw bleach in your eye/Now ya brailling it, snatch that light shit, I’m scaling it”
As you can tell, Biggie went in pretty hard on this track. In this line, he’s assumed to be going at Raekwon, Nas, Ghostface Killah, AND O.G.C.
“Long Kiss Goodnight”
“Slugs hit your chest tap you spine, flatline/Heard through the grapevine, you got fucked fo’ times/Damn that three to nine, fucked you up for real though/Sling steel slow, as for remorse, we feel no”
In one of the more popular beefs, Biggie and Tupac went at it, and this brutal diss is thought to be aimed
“Going Back to Cali”
“Smoke some nice sess in the West, y’all niggas is a mess/Thinking I’m gon’ stop, giving L.A. props/All I got is beef with those that violate me/I shall annihilate thee”
More shots at Pac, but this time he’s taking shots at all of Death Row Records.
“I Got a Story to Tell”
“The sh*t she kicked, all the sh*t’s legit/She get d*ck from a player off the New York Knicks/Nigga tricked ridiculous, the shit was plush/She’s stressin’ me to f**k, like she was in a rush/We f**ked in his bed, quite dangerous/I’m in his ass while he playin’ ‘gainst the Utah Jazz/My 112, CD blast, I was past/She came twice I came last, roll the grass”
These shots are towards NBA player Anthony Mason, back when Biggie supposedly slept with his girlfriend.
“What’s Beef”
“Pardon my French but, uh, sometimes I get kind of
Peeved at these weak MCs/With the supreme ballerlike lyrics/I call em like I see em, G, y’all niggas sound like me/Y’all was grimy in the early ’90s, far behind me”
Peeved at these weak MCs/With the supreme ballerlike lyrics/I call em like I see em, G, y’all niggas sound like me/Y’all was grimy in the early ’90s, far behind me”
What’s beef? Oh, you know what it is, Biggie. He’s still taking shots at Raekwon and Nas here.
