There is something about military technology that really wets our whistles here at Speed Society. Knowing that they have the best of the best and are keeping some highly classified secrets really makes the technology that much more impressive.
In this one, we take a look at some Cold War technology that birthed the world’s fastest air-breathing aircraft – theLockheed SR-71 Blackbird.
At the time, this plane really showed off some incredible specs, most notably it’s top speed that couldn’t be touched by many. A variety of the abilities of this plane are still seen as spectacular in today’s world of aviation.
