Since bursting onto the scene in 2006, Rick
Ross has become one of the hottest and most in-demand artists in hip
hop. However, the 'Hustlin' rapper also packed on the pounds during his
rise to the top. Recently that all changed, Ross becoming determined to
shed the excess weight and taking to social media to share his
significant progress.

Though Rick Ross has lost over 100 pounds he
still has some to lose. Before his latest fitness overhaul, he
acknowledged that his lack of exercise and poor eating habits
contributed to his expanding waistline.
Now, he’s thoroughly
enjoying his training program, which he called his 'RossFit' program, a
play on the name 'CrossFit' and he works the grueling routine daily.
‘It’s tough. It’s a different type of workout. I feel good.’
Rick Ross started with his
new fitness regime last year and is happy with the results so far.
Prior to committing to his RossFit program, Ross told WKYS FM, 'The most
I used to do for exercise was stand up to count the money.'
Since he packed on weight with that form of exercise, Ross recently
upped his game with RossFit and though his diet hasn’t changed too much,
he’s added more fruits and vegetables and decreased the size of his
portions.
‘I eat pears now and [stuff] like that,’ he said. ‘I still eat the way I want to eat. I just go to the gym.’

today and he’s also staying busy running his empire with his sister
Tawanda. Both Rick and Tawanda are very passionate about the day-to-day
business and they’re growing fast.
Along with Rick Ross’ healthy new lifestyle
and slim new body, he’s also engaged to model Lisa Galore and proposed
to her with a giant $350,000 diamond ring.

debut album in 2006 after signing to Def Jam Records. The album, 'Port
of Miami' was a critical success, labelled by Rolling Stone as the, 'The
summer's biggest rap record.'
Rick Ross looks great today and we expect that
he’ll look even better in the near future as he continues to work on
his fitness goals in order to achieve his ideal body.

make any radical changes to his diet, he intends to continue eating
smaller portions and including extra fruit and vegetables to his diet.
