If you're anything like me, when you want to download something big onto your iPhone you have to pit your apps up against each other to decide who stays and who gets the chop.
Sometimes I'm shocked by the weird, unused apps that have somehow wrangled their way onto my phone and I'll happily delete them.
However, Redditor eavesdroppingyou has revealed a trick which frees up loads of space WITHOUT DELETING ANYTHING.
It's so simple, it's kind of infuriating.
When you go to download something and it pops up with the following message...
You probably say something along the lines of: "Oh, bollocks". But don't "Oh, bollocks" it just yet.
When you click 'settings', your iPhone will automatically begin 'cleaning' apps. Basically, removing cookies, cache etc to free up some space. If you press your home button, you'll see apps that are going through this process.
Anyway, you can repeat this process over and over. One guy apparently went from 800 MB free space to 4.9 GB just by repeating this process.
