Could This Lamborghini Batmobile Really Be The Company's First Hybrid?

Lamborghini has been reluctant to embrace hybrid technology with its production cars, although that could change with the upcoming Urus SUV. Still, it’s likely the Raging Bull will keep cranking out supercars powered by petrol.
However, Car Tavern is imagining a future where Lamborghini’s next hypercar is a hybrid with four in-wheel electric motors. Feast your eyes upon the Lamborghini Diverso concept. It looks like a Batmobile and is unlike anything the automaker has ever produced. Okay, the Egoista was pretty damn crazy.



Powering the Diverso are the four aforementioned in-wheel electric motors good for 100 horsepower each.
Those are paired to a 6.5-liter V12 engine pushing out 690 bhp and 508 lb-ft of torque. Hybrid supercars are the way of the future and Lamborghini should get with the times sooner than later. Regardless, we find this concept a little too crazy to ever see the road. What do you think of this hybrid concept car?
