These are twenty cool facts about the well known Marvel Comics character – Iron Man.
1. Iron Man, the movie had no real screenplay and was mostly improvised.
It helped to create more real characters who behave as natural as you do.
2. Robert Downey Jr. was paid 100 times more in The Avengers than he was paid in Iron Man 1.
The star of Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr. is is also included in the list of the highest paid actors of Hollywood.
3. In the beginning of Iron Man, Tony Stark’s captors are revealing the entire movie plot in a language called Urdu.
The language can only be understood by those who come from Pakistan or learnt the Pakistani language.
4. Iron Man’s computer, J.A.R.V.I.S., is an acronym for “Just A Rather Very Intelligent System”.
Iron Man’s super powers are supported by the intelligent machine to a great extent.
5. Tesla and Paypal co-founder Elon Musk was the real-life inspiration for Iron Man portrayal by Robert Downey Jr.

In Iron Man 3 the character of Mandarin stopped being Chinese and lost his power rings salvaged from the alien space ship. It was done to make the Mandarin more realistic.
12. Tony Stark is based on Howard Hughes.
Howard Hughes was a magnate, an inventor, a traveller, a multi-billionaire, a playboy and finally a nutcase showing symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Quite a prominent figure who deserves to be a hero of its time.

The Tony Stark movie had been developed since 1990 in various studios.
14. The “Iron Patriot” Armor will be made for Don Cheadle.
Don Cheadle, the star of Iron Man 2, is going to wear the upgraded Iron patriot uniform when he shows up in new film series.
15. Guy Pearce is playing the role of another Iron Man antagonist.
Aldrich Killian and Maya Hansen, an old friend of Tony Stark, will start developing the technology called Extremis intended for military purposes. When the military refuses to fund it, Killian will make up his mind to use it for his own selfish and evil desires.

17. Stark initially changed the color of his armor from metallic gray to gold (and later to red and gold).
He followed the advice of his ex-girlfriend who convinced him the gray color was too frightening for those people who needed his help.
18. Stark was ranked the fifth wealthiest fictional character of all time by Forbes in the latest edition of the publication’s “Fictional 15” list.
The first position belonged to Scrooge McDuck, the 2nd- to Smaug, the 3rd to Carlisle Cullen. The forth one belonged to Iron Man – Tony Stark.
19. Howard Stark was almost War Machine.
Howard Stark, father of Tony Stark, was a cruel version of War Machine.
20. Iron Man could be directed by Quentin Tarantino.
