Warning: Probable spoilers ahead for Ant-Man.
Most of the Avengers are taking some much-deserved R&R time following their big battle in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but it appears one member of the superteam will be popping up in next month's Ant-Man.
That's what we're taking away from a new TV spot, anyway, which appears to show some familiar hardware, hinting at the idea that a previously-unannounced member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be appearing in the film.
You can check out a potentially-spoilery image below.
...Yup, for those who can't quite make it out, we're thinking this is Falcon, played by Anthony Mackie. The gun looks vaguely familiar, but it's the red elements of his costume and the framework of his wings -- both of which appear present here -- that really sell us on the idea.
The image comes from a recently-released TV spot for the film, and Falcon of all characters is one of those who makes the most sense to guest-star in a film that doesn't seem too Avengers-friendly. After all, he's military, and has worked with both the Avengers and, when it existed, S.H.I.E.L.D. He's a character who essentially does this for a living and at the pleasure of the President, so he could easily be called in to handle a smaller-scale skirmish like what appears to be going on with Pym's company, versus a worldwide/cosmic invasion where the full Avengers team would be needed.
Ant-Man is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on July 17, 2015.
