Earlier today, a batch of photos and information from the upcoming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice were released online.
The photos revealed the DC comics Trinity of Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman together in an official Batman v. Superman photo for the first time. Among the rest of the photos were interesting and revealing descriptions from the film.
First of all, the biggest confirmation comes from the image of the mechanized Batsuit. The suit is described as making Batman stronger but more importantly confirmed it to be lined with Kryptonite. Many fans suspected this to be the case, seeing as it is probably the only way Bruce Wayne would have a fighting chance against Superman.
Next up is the fact that Bruce and Diana know one another. Ben Affleck said the photo of the two together is from a "bond-y sexy scene that they wrote about two people who are pretending to be two different people who each know the secrets of the other person." That's kind of a mind-bending statement but the way I'm interpreting it is Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince know each other's true identities but are acting as if they don't during a tensions-as-high-as-the-class party scene.
Finally, the revealing photo of Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor with golden locks. Those are promised to be removed so the photo is presumably a flashback, perhaps before Luthor was evil or revealing his roots.
Surely, we'll get some more info, photos, and video from next week's Warner Bros. panel at San Diego Comic Con. What do you think of the new photos and info from Batman v. Superman so far?
